Oskaloosa Education Foundation

Mission

The mission of the Oskaloosa Education Foundation is to facilitate a cooperative relationship between the Oskaloosa Community School District and its citizens.  The purpose of The Foundation is to develop financial resources that can be used to provide supplemental educational programs that cannot be funded by either the district budget or other support groups.

What is the Foundation?

The Oskaloosa Education Foundation was founded in 1994 as a permanent, non-profit, tax-exempt corporation and is registered with both state and federal governments.

The Foundation is totally a volunteer organization.  The Board of Directors is comprised of local business and professional people, parents, a member of the school board, and school personnel.

Projects

Oskaloosa’s public schools work hard to provide the best possible education for all students.  However, there are always extras that can enhance the quality and scope of education for the Oskaloosa community.  Every advantage to maximize the opportunities for Oskaloosa and its youth must be sought. Contributions to the Oskaloosa Education Foundation can provide that advantage.
